*laughs a bit at Quinn’s enthusiastic reply and ducks his head. He looks back up at her and reaches across the table to take her hand in his* I don’t think we should…rush into anything, but yeah. I wanna go out on a date with you. Many dates, in fact. So we can get to know each other again. *smiles up at her and squeezes her hand a little*

*smiles awkwardly because she’s laughing at him and it’s just a funny situation okay* Uhh…both? *they smile playfully at each other for a second and he grows a little bit more serious, but still looks at her with affection* Maybe…it would’ve been good for me.

*nods, still smiling* Okay *gets up and walks around the kitchen getting spoons and bowls and 2 bottles of water blahblahblah pourpourpour now they’re both eating the soup, occasionally staring at the other over their bowls and looking away shyly when they make eye contact*
*swirls his spoon around in his soup for a moment before looking up at Quinn* So…Collin. Are you guys…together?

*smiles back* Well, there is enough soup for two and it is from my favorite place so… *reaches for the bag with the soup in it on the table* How about you get the bowls while I unpack it?

Well I’m still sorry. It seemed like you really loved her *looks down at her hands* And I’m sorry about how I acted at that party. I mean, I don’t remember half of what I said but it couldn’t have been good.
*laughs softly and shakes his head, smiling fondly at her* I don’t think we’re going to convince the other to stop apologizing and that could get pretty annoying, so. How about we just agree that we’re both sorry and move on from there?

*shakes his head a little in disbelief at how understanding and nice Quinn is being, thinking that she should probably be yelling at him or something.* But I do need to keep apologizing. I kissed you and I just…I ran out. And then at the party, I said I was ashamed. I’m only ashamed of how I handled everything and the fact that I cheated. I always said I would never do that. And don’t feel bad about Annie and me breaking up. It was a long time coming. It would have ended with or without me kissing you.
